LPG Hike: Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa Demand Roll Back – Breaking News

On Jan2, 2014 - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa demands the central government to  rollback of LPG cyclinders hike of Rs.220. CM J Jayalalithaa said non-subsidized increase in LPG cylinders which would be a new year gift offered by central government to people. She criticized the Central government natural gas hike principle. Hike is in LPG cylinder prices based on average imported cost as totally unjustified, Jayalalithaa said in a press release. She had been demanding the petrol and diesel price should be calculated based on refining rate and domestic rates.  A same strategy should also be followed for LPG pricing. Third revision about increase in fuel prices could have been avoided, she added. Buying price of LPG cyclinder price due to the fact sep 2012 had been increase by 58 per cent, she stated. Hike should be roll out in order to eliminate the burden of people. Following the price hike of LPG cylinders, political party’s demanding a rollback measure.
